Bathroom DIY: Toilet Pucks
Hey!
This weekend I dived into The Supernatural Recipe Guide created by the amazing Ange Peters of Hol:Fit. I’ve tried a few of her recipes before and they never disappoint! This book is an incredible 100+ page compilation of supernatural recipes for every thing you could imagine (cleaning, hair, nails, teeth, pregnancy, cooking etc.).
For the first time I decided to try the toilet pucks and I wanted to share the recipe with you. If you want more of these recipes you can buy the Supernatural Recipe Guide HERE. (NOTE: All of my customers receive this guide for FREE when they enrol.)
Here’s the recipe:
1 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Citric Acid
1 1/2 tbsp Unscented Castille Soap
15 drops essential oil such as Purify (I was out of purify so I used Litsea and Lemongrass)
Combine the baking soda and citric acid first and then mix in Castille soap and essential oil. Mixture should be a wet sand consistency. Press into silicone molds and let dry for at least four hours (I did overnight and they popped out easily).
I used them today and they worked perfectly! I love how easy and natural it is. My toilet bowl cleaners of the past have all been so powerful that I felt like I was choking on fumes. Gross. I like to clean my house without feeling like I’m poisoning my family.
