Feel the Shift
Hey! So, a lot of us are feeling a bit stir crazy and some of us are feeling downright awful. This social isolation thing affects everyone differently and I know some of you are struggling BIG time. I took some time today to put together a few things that help me when my energy is feeling stagnant and my mood is feeling super low.
First off, it’s ok to feel how you feel. You don’t need to be more productive or learn a new language during this time. We are in a crisis after all, not on holidays. Do the best you can do every day and if that means having a shower today then YAY – GOLD STAR! ⭐️
If you are ready to feel the shift in your energy then find what speaks to you on this list. It might be one thing that creates that shift in energy or you might be down to tackle the whole list! Whatever works for you!
Music & diffuser on first think in the morning!
Diffuser blend: Peppermint, Rosemary, Wild Orange (music = dance party for me… but you do you)
Drink 16 oz of water with 1 drop of lemon oil (or freshly squeezed lemon)
You can also use grapefruit, wild orange, lime or tangerine oil
Take supplements: Lifelong Vitality, Mito2Max, Terrazyme
Changing your energy begins on a cellular level! Activate those cells with the nutrients they need to produce energy and do their job efficiently
Wash your face!
Or oil cleanse with some jojoba or olive oil.
Supercharge your breakfast! Bulletproof coffee, add greens to your smoothie, or eat greens with eggs
How can you add more nutrient dense, energy fuelling foods to your morning? Find out what works for you and do that!
Stretch or do yoga for 15 minutes
If you want to feel the energy you need to move your body
Sweat! Get outside or do an at home online workout
Talk about taking your energy to the next level and getting those endorphins going! Want to feel alive? Exercise!
Call a friend! 💕
We all need social connection. Some more than others. Check in on the extroverts and the huggers. They need you now more than ever.
Drink more water! Seriously. More. Water.
You probably aren’t hungry or tired. You’re thirsty. The body doesn’t know how to tell you nicely. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty.
Put a drop of peppermint oil in your hand, rub together and breathe in! Rub remaining oil on back of neck
If you’ve never tried this, you are in the for a trip! This is invigorating and energizing x 1000!
Do a 10-minute tidy in the afternoon and before bed
There are more people at home now than before… and all day long. The house will be messier and more work to take care of. Two quick 10-minute tidies will take away the overwhelm and make you feel productive. Get other family members involved too!
